What is the health ins risk pool?>>>> Marti, I was on this for the past 7 years until I qualified for medicare. It is funded at least in our state by a federal grant and has to accept any who apply. It definitely isn't cheap but did cover about 80% of my needs unless of course I went outside of network. Check with your state insurance commissioners office and they should be able to tell you how to contact the agency in your state. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
