Guest guest
Colleen, I like your attitude. Your positive attitude will help you cope better with problems and will make your recovery faster. Make sure you know at all times what is being done, what to expect, what is expected of you, and with what symptoms you need to raise alarm bells. Chaim Boermeester, Israel From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Colleen Garvey Kueter Sent: Wednesday, August 20, 2008 16:44 To: Subject: Care Pages link Hi everyone, As you all can imagine, the countdown to tomorrow is a bit crazy. I'm trying to get about 2 weeks worth of stuff done in one day. And poor Fritz has come down with croup on top of everything else. We ended up in the ER on Monday night/Tuesday AM from 1:30 to 3:30 AM. Ugh. I created a Care Pages site for us last night: http://www.carepages.com/carepages/154228/invitations/32658/400c32b194bfa0f0d55 ee1bff0498f770b678930 I'm trying to remain positive and upbeat, but boy, 24 hours before you know you are having 60% of your liver surgically removed to have a really horrible cancer taken out of your body, and the cracks and fissures in your facade start to show. Yet I am still expecting a good outcome as that is the only one I can have. Too many people are counting on me to be here and be their mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend. I have lots of things to do yet in my life! I came across a great quote the other day: " Man can endure and what, so long as he has a why. " -- Viktor l Something to meditate on when the going gets rough. Thanks for all the prayers and support, Colleen

Guest guest
Ian I am not sure what the deal is. Others have been able to find it once they create a login, but haven't been able to leave messages. Jens and I are trying to work out the bugs before we leave in the AM. Guest guest
I am so sorry to read that Fritz, got sick in the middle of your very busy beginig of week. I hope he is doing much better, now. Thank you for creating the Care Page link. May you be at complete inner peace and free of worries, during the next few hours to your surgery. My thoughts with your family, too.
