Guest guest
Hi, all! I'm hoping some of you all can help me. I keep losing weight and I'm now down to a size 0 or 00. I'm having the hardest time finding anything smaller than a size 2 in the stores and the size 2 makes me look like I'm playing dress-up they're so big! Does anyone know where to find smaller sizes? I figure if anyone's going to know the answer, someone on this board will! Thanks! Sandi in VA
Guest guest
If you have Junior League Thrift store in your area I would try there. I was at the one here in Austin the other day and I always see so many nice clothes that are in those small sizes. This is one of the ways they raise money for philanthropy. I think many of these women are petite. Might be worth a try. Dawn Clothes/Fashion Help Hi, all! I'm hoping some of you all can help me. I keep losing weight and I'm now down to a size 0 or 00. Guest guest
Hi! Le Chateau tends to have smaller sizes, so maybe stores like that. I have also had some luck with the size 16 in the girl's dept. at Walmart. Hard to find things that are plain and without sparkles, but it can be done. I have also had some good luck with Old Navy as well. Old Navy is well priced and seems to have the most sizes that are 1 or 0, so it tends to be my fave store. It can be frustrating to try and find nice things that fit and it takes the fun out of shoppng, but once you find a good store, it makes all the difference in the world! Good Luck!! Guest guest
Hi Sandi, Some Target's carry small and extra small cloths. Also the clearance racks at some high end stores. I cannot afford to shop at most of the high end stores but I can afford their clearance rack stuff and at times have been able to find really good deals on them. I have also shopped in the kids department at least for pants. Good Luck Dawn > Hi, all! I'm hoping some of you all can help me. I keep losing weight and I'm now down to a size 0 or 00. Guest guest
I do not share the small size problem, however, I can usually find large and tall sizes online and I would imagine you could also find the sizes you need online. Old Navy, for one, has alot more options in sizing and selection online. Guest guest
Dawn, Lee, Barbara, Deb and Joanne (and anyone else I forgot!), Hi! Thank you so much for helping me with my clothes/fashion issue! I appreciate all of the great suggestions. It seems like the consensus of best places for those of us with size 0/00 issues are Old Navy, Children's/Juniors Departments, Thrift/Consignment Stores, Banana Republic and Ann Loft. I haven't checked it out yet, but I'm also wondering if the Gap might carry some since Gap and Old Navy are sister stores! Anyhow, thank you again for all your help! Next time you see me, hopefully I'll be wearing clothes that fit...and aren't covered with sequined Hello Kitty(s)! Although, I do love Hello Kitty!, so.....
