I just saw my doctors in August and they told me that some new research sow that if you continue to take a low dose of Prednisone then you have less chance of a reacurrance. That is why they will not let me get off the 5mg of Prednisone they have me taking and I'm 3 years post transplant on Sept. 28th.

Subject: Recurring PSCTo: Date: Sunday, March 2, 2008, 11:35 AM

Hello Everyone,I had my first liver transplant for PSC in 2000, the disease recurred, and I had a second transplant in July 2007. Now the disease is starting to recur in my third (second transplanted) liver. Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone know of any leading edge research on turning off the immune process that keeps causing the disease to recur in liver after liver? Any comments would be helpful.

Pat (or anyone else)

If you have any published research on the below finding, I would like to see

it.

Thanks Roy T.
