Nope that's not it. I'm heavy metal poisoned with mercury and cadmium, have

aspergers syndrome from it, and use 24 meg a night t to help me sleep along with

prescription antidepressants and htp tryptophan. It does not give me any

problems, other than needing a lot of it.

Hensley <>< 8-)

It might also have to do with heavy metal poisoned people. Both and I

are mercury poisoned so maybe that has something to do with it. I know I

read something to the effect about Sam E that half it will work, half will

get worse. It didn't work for me either.

Cheri,

Valerian need to be taken consistently for a period of weeks before

results are seen. And apparently some people get better results taking

it in the am. I have a friend for whome valerian (capsules) worked

really well, she took one every morning. But she did say it took several

weeks to help. Then once she had been on it for several months, she was

able to stop it and still sleep well.

I haven't ever been consistent with it, as with the capsules I burp

valerian powder for hours after taking one. Nasty and I can't keep on

taking it. LOL.

Okay, Maybe I will try it for a couple of weeks. The directions said to take

3 an hour before bed. If it doesn't help in a couple of weeks I likely won't

stick with it though, lol.
