Guest guest
I would think she is afraid of her own license being revoked if she prescribed the t3. If you have presented yourself as an informed patient then perhaps she felt as if it was okay to approve the tests. At least you will know what is going on when you are taking your t3.And you ARE wishing to monitor things. Some folks just take whatever and never have testing done.K.Subject: Re: Doctors, not healersTo: RT3_T3 Date: Thursday, May 27, 2010, 4:45 PMNo, I really can't imagine that. I wonder if she knows that T3 works but for liability reasons alone won't touch it? Keep the Dr. free from lawsuits but what about the patient!?>> Like many here I can't get a dr. to prescribe t3. So, I finally told my rheumatologist that I was ordering t3 from Mexico and all I wanted from her was a standing order to have complete thryoid tests so I could monitor myself. She said ok and wrote the order and told me to have the tests sent directly to myself. Can you imagine that? She did not want to be responsible for a t3 rx, but it was ok with her if I took as much foreign t3 as I wanted without dr. supervision. And that, folks, is a prime example of our current "healers".>------------------------------------We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences.
