Grate some fresh ginger root into a small pan, add water and simmer to make a tea. Add whatever sweeter you use (honey tastes great). Sip away. It's wonderful hot or cool. Guest guest
but remember, your friend is where God sends his beautiful creatures and we can be reunited one day. I can;t tell this story in the manner that I read it but I will try to tell it. Your animal goes to heaven. He is with other animals in a special place in heaven. They are play together and then one day your animal looks up and comes running. You have entered heaven and he joins you and the two of you are together. Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman.
Guest guest
It's called The Rainbow Bridge. I've included the poem at the bottom of this email. Rhonda Re: Re: nausea I can;t tell this story in the manner that I read it but I will try to tell it. Your animal goes to heaven. He is with other animals in a special place in heaven. Take care, Irene *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
Guest guest
Hi everyone, I've been dealing with some major nausea lately, and I can't pinpoint the source. Is nausea a 'normal' part of PSC? This morning it's so bad I can't even stomach a cup of hot tea, and I've not been able to eat normally in some time. I have phenergan and am taking it PRN. Guest guest
Genevieve, Hi! I can't even remember the last time I wasn't nauseous. For me, it's a part of everyday life. Sometimes even the smell or mention of food is enough to set me off on a vomiting binge. I strongly believe there's a PSC connection for the nausea. It's like nothing I ever experienced before I got sick. Some of the things I've tried along with diet modifications (which made no difference) are crystalized ginger, ginger altoids, Get Relief tea from Republic of Tea, phenergan (sp), promethazine...I'm suddenly blanking on some of the names of the other prescription nausea meds I've been on. Nothing seems to help too much in my case, unfortunately, but I hope they work in yours!!! Hope you're feeling better already!
