Guest guest
Hi all, I am new to this forum and would like to ask for your advice. I was diagnosed hypo about 1 year ago, suffering from delayed fatigue, sleep problems, poor stamina, tiredness, poor immune system. I built up to 100mg of T4. I was then diagosed with adrenal stress (hypoadrenia) and Hashimoto's disease (autoimmune thyroid disease). I tried natural adrenal glandular extracts, but they didn't work, so was prescribed Hydrocortone. I built up the HC to about 10mg a day, but then started to suffer from thyroid dump (unable to sleep, high pulse), so I stopped taking the T4 over 1 week ago. Now I am on my full dose of 15mg per day of HC (5mg at 8am, 5mg at 12 and 5mg at 4pm). However, I am still not sleeping well. It takes me an hour to get to sleep and I wake up a lot during the night. I am considering taking 1mg of Melatonin for a few nights, but am uneasy about introducing another hormone into my body. Am I still suffering from too my T4 in my system? Or maybe there is another reason for the poor quality of my sleep? I would greatly appreciate your comments. Please see test result below. Apologies for the length of this post.
