OT- this just occured to me- slight rant

after i posted to cecilia about the college degrees, i realized that,

while i said " here in america " , she technically lives in america too, albeit

south america. then i realized that jacquie, altho living in canda, is also

technically in america (north). so why is it that the united states is the

only place synonomous with america? why are WE americans and jacquie and

cecilia are not. what makes us so damn special anyway?

it was probably just easier to say that than to keep saying, " those
