Bratty Pooh, For pity's sake, don't cry...I don't wanna be soggy, too. Come on, kiddo, lighten up.

As my doc said, together we'll get me through this thing, whatever happens. I have faith in my own

stubbornness, and in God, so what will be, will be. Besides, as Normi puts it, She's too selfish to let

me escape the planet. LOL You and I both know I will fight until the last man is standing before I'll

give in to this, so don't sweat the small stuff is what I say.

I go in tomorrow early for the trans-esophageal echocardiogram (ain't that a mouthful?), and will

be home and dozey by 2:30 in the afternoon our time. Probably sleep all night with all the happy

juice they give you. Then, no more tests until next Tuesday, when I go for the heart cath. That takes all day, and the cardiologist and my PCP have agreed that if there is any question at all on how

I'm doing, they'll keep me in hospital overnight. Since I HATE medical incarceration, I am hoping I

come through that test with flying colors. I do not want to spend any time in that place that I don't

have to. Period.

The extra iron they are giving me for the anemia seems to be helping a tiny bit with the breathless

feeling, at least it seemed so this morning. I actually cooked the boys' breakfast and got a load of

laundry washed and dried. Never thought I'd live to see the day I'd celebrate being able to do a load

of dirty clothes. LOL Too weird.

Gotta go pick up Reesey for Karate. Since he usually goes on Wed.'s and I will be out of commission

tomorrow, I promised to take him today, instead. He is really loving it, and has gone up seven ranks

already. I could use some "down" time from it at home, though. He is always yelling "K'yah!" all

over the house and kicking and punching. I told him that now we have nice weather he can take it

outside. I got them a good hard bag for punching and kicking practice, and we hung it from an old

olive tree in the back patio. They can take out their aggressions on that. Randy is slow at that

concept, still preferring to punch his brother, but we are working on it.

You take care, honey, and try not to worry. I am not half as scared as I thought I would be. My

greatest fear is being a burden on people, I have never been afraid of dying. I have always had such

a strong belief in the mercy of the Great Spirit. I love you, MM
