Guest guest
Hi everybody, I was hoping someone could describe to me in more detail what exactly the right upper quadrant pain that some of you have feels like. I tried to do a search of past postings, and came up with SO many results for liver pain and RUQ pain that it was difficult to wade through to find exactly what I was looking for. Just today I started having a new pain, something different than what I've ever had before--not muscle pain, not gut pain, but ~something else~ that just feels odd and uncomfortable. It is definitely in the right upper quadrant, behind my breast and just a bit lower. I can only describe it as being a strong constant ache that does not desist with any kind of movement or stretching. It is almost a feeling of..... heaviness, I guess; maybe sort of a fullness feeling? I would say it's a 4 or 5 on the pain scale; bothersome, and I've just taken some ibuprofen, but not intense.
