Becky - if the progesterone shows no problem (get a copy of the report for your own records) will u push really hard for the rest? Estrogens and testosterone AND THYROID - which can cause hormone imbalances? My doc was arguementative about this also, but when I said that many of the ladies in the support group I belonged to wound up with hormone imbalances and or vulvo/vaginal atrophies, she tested me. I had to really present my case about this, using bona fide medical excerpts (medical sites like PUBMED or MEDSCAPE, or hospital libraries).I know a lot of people can't afford this, but if docs refuse there are labs out there that will test your blood without a script, one being healthcheckusa at:http://www.healthcheckusa.com/lab_tests/Becky Thorn wrote: <<So Becky - have you had your hormones checked ? even armed with this information about my cyclic pain, though my logical conclusion is that it's hormonal, my doctors have yet to agree. But I haven't been satisfied with any of their explanations for that. They seem to think my pain is reduced during ovulation because of the extra lubrication. I am certain this is not the case, but I cannot convince them. Anyway, we'll find out what the progesterone levels are in the next couple weeks I guess and go from there!
