Guest guest
I went to my doctor yesterday and talked to him about the URQ pain that I have experienced. He didn't say what he thought it was but he did say that the next time that it happens, that he would like to get some blood to see what the LFT's show during the pain. The last time, I was in so much pain that I went straight home without doing the blood work. The next morning when I was fine, I went and got the blood work done and it was fine. This doesn't answer any questions but maybe it will lead to an answer at some point. Guest guest
Arne Thanks for this description. I have the sludgey kind of attacks all the time. For me the URQ pain is more like a dull ache -- Like I have a small rock tucked up under my ribcage and it is just enough to make me sore. My husband and I usually spoon when we get into bed at night, but I can't stand to have his arm resting on my side anymore -- it is way to uncomfortable. I'm sleeping (when I sleep) on my right side more and more -- the counterpressure feels so much better, I almost don't feel the URQ discomfort that way. I definitely need to up my fluid intake -- no doubt that would help. And OT, but I saw a program on the Food Network once about lukefisk. I'm an adventurous eater, but i doubt that would ever hit my plate! But neither would rollmops!
