Guest guest
Scrubbing the tub and other forms of housework may clean your house and boost your mood. In fact, as little as 20 minutes of any kind of physical activity a week helped mental health, although the more vigorous the activity, the greater the benefit, said the authors of a study published online Thursday in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. The physical benefits of exercise are well known: It reduces the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and even some cancers, among other things. The mental benefits are less clear, although exercise is thought to improve blood flow and reduce inflammation, which have been related to depression and dementia. Exercise might also improve mood by reducing stress levels. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/news/fullstory_63236.html Please note: Who is doing the vacuuming (while the other is perusing a magazine) in this article. My hubby cleaning our house would certainly brighten my mood ;-) Oh yeah, that’s the ticket Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight, Whatever it Takes! Guest guest
Oh, that sounds like heaven! I like to vacuum, but I wish I could afford someone to dust and scrub my bathroom and kitchen. Am I the only person here who likes doing laundry? My favorite are my son's diapers! Nothing beats that for a pleasant chore, believe it or not. I've been bugging Jens to put up a clothesline for me.
