Guest guest
I just wanted to thank all those who worked on the conference. It was a great experience. It was well organized, the speakers were personable and approachable and there wasn't a wasted moment. All a testament to the hard work everyone put into it. I learned two important things about dealing with my son's PSC; get educated and be proactive (we used a different word for it in our small group, but I won't go there, lol). Also, many thanks to Hussey for donating half of the sales of her book. I read it on my way home from the conference and really enjoyed it. Not only is it humorous, it is also inspirational and applies to anyone dealing with an illness or other life crises. PSC is a club none of us want to be a member of, but we are fortunate to be in it with such great people. Guest guest
Dear Martha- Thank you so much for the endorsement!(Your check is in the mail - but you'll have to send it back as a PSC donation, LOL.) Yes it's a bittersweet experience to be a part of this " Club. " But even if none of us or our loved ones had PSC I would STILL want to have a yearly conference with y'all (with a cute doctor or two thrown in for good measure). And I have a new nickname for Ricky Safer - she is " Ricky-chet Rabbit. " She hops all over the place like an energizer bunny gettin' stuff done. One day I'm gonna find her battery compartment. Martha, I hope and pray your son's health improves and that we'll see you guys next year! WOF WOF (WOF WOF means " Wife of Fred, " who's nickname is " FDog. " So it works. It also works because I'm his 2nd--and favorite--wife, thus the second WOF.) PSC 03/04, UC 03/06 I just wanted to thank all those who worked on the conference. It was a great experience.
