, I wasn't aware that dehydration can do that,

but I think I can remember that both times, back in

February/March and now, because I wasn't feeling well,

I slowed down on my drinking water, which I need so

much more of due to the jpouch and dehydration

problems with that. That is some wonderful insight,

and now that I think about it, both times after being

given iv fluids at the hospital, the v tac signs on

the ekg disappeared and must not have caused any

permanent damage because the stress test shows nothing

and the cardiologist says my heart is fine.

I am going to bring that up with my family doctor.

The transplant coordinator had the doctor presribe the

lasix, which I was told took out potassium, but then

the other water pill put it back so it was a washout,

but she did tell me to stop taking them (yeah, now

that I got my 90 day supply from MEDCO and can't send

it back ) oh well.

I am a very paranoid person when it comes to narcotic

drugs because my oldest sister had back problems and

got hooked on valium and a host of other drugs. And

when she was 47 she kept going to doctor to doctor

trying to get them to listen to her that something was

wrong with her heart, and they told her she was crazy,

then 13 days before she turned 48, she sat down in her

chair in the morning, lit her cigaret, took in a

breath and died of a massive heart attack.

Today is the first day I have been out of bed for more

than 2 hours at a time. I have contemplated going to

work tomorrow, knowing that I probably can't get an

appt with my family doctor on such short notice, but

maybe on Wednesday which is my day off, but Mike says,

no stay home and rest and get these things taken care

of first, I worry about only gettting 90% of my pay,

but I know I spend more than 10 percent of it on gas.

I definitely have to get my priorities straight, and

in a hurry. I did want to wait it out until after the

new year because I wanted to have my teeth extracted

and then after the first get dentures...kind of use up

my dental for 2008 and then 2009 for the dentures to

curb that expense. But then, I feel like I am using

my company....

The only people we worry about (from my former manager days) are those that DON'T feel that way. My two cents, you know you've given them your best (and they know it too), and you know how you compare to the rest.

That's what benefits are for - they know that too. Don't worry about the company; take care of yourself!
