Blood pressure spike on T3

Hi all....since kicking up to 80 mcgs of cytomel...I have noticed my blood

pressure has spiked up 20 points...with the sistolic moving into into the high

140s....I thought it might be cause by licorice so I stopped that several weeks

back but the numbers are still high...can T3 cause that?
