Guest guest
Hey everyone, While I admire everyone who has never been a drinker, smoker, or addict, I do want anyone to know that might have made poor choices in your past that there is room for everyone in our group. Please don't feel like you don't belong or feel guilt for being sick or making your child sick. Virtues and number of loved ones doesn't figure into anyone's place on the transplant list. I don't ever want to get on the slippery slope of deciding who is most worthy to receive organs. I am not bitter toward someone who gets a liver ahead of me who was totally or partially responible for destroying his/her liver. BTW, I don't drink, smoke, etc. never have. But I guarantee you that the family of addicts/alcoholics suffer just as much as do parents/families of sick children. Giving up alcohol is just as hard for some people as adjusting to ill health is for others. Take care all, Cheryl ID PSC/AIH Re: Who shot JR? > > > > > Sure !Join us!!...
