Guest guest
I'm feeling a bit lame, because I went to the link and still can't find information about the cost of the conference (I did find the $99 hotel room rate)... Thanks for the list of speakers and topics because that was info I was looking for also. > > Yes, , it's sponsored by the National Foundation. Thanks for the list of speakers and topics > because that was info I was looking for also. , you aren't lame!! See this post from one of the members who is putting on the conference this year. When I get my packet, I'll let you know more details. Also, Sue Ginley has been working on the conference, but she's not feeling well right now, so if she posts the info first, then you'll know, OK? Are you thinking of going??? Where do you live? Love Lana I'd like to welcome you and your daughter and hope you will be able to make it to conference. 1) The conference is open to anyone. 2) The conference registration packets will be out this month and will contain registration fee, forms and other information regarding the conference. 3) We are still in the process of setting the workshop speaker schedule. We will have different topics on each day, however some speakers will be repeating their topics either at different times or on another day. You do not need to attend all days. You can choose which best fit into your schedule. If you check the post on January 28, 2004 from Judy giddy-King you will find an outline of the conference days as well as speakers and topics. Again, we are still working out the speaker schedule so specific times for speakers is not available.
Guest guest
Hi Lana, I'm very interested in going, but I'm not sure if it is feasible right now. It will boil down to the total cost of the registration, hotel, airfare, and travel from the airport to the hotel. I'd probably have to come on my own, as I'm not sure the hubby could get time off work. We are already planning a trip to Florida for my Grandma's 90th birthday in Novemeber, so I'm not sure if another trip this year is in the budget. I'm in the Los Angeles area. > Are you thinking of going??? > Where do you live? > > Love Lana

I want to get started on making all the plans today. Yeppeiiiii yawhooooo Cindylouwho. Hi love I believe you can turn the registration forms in anytime. And, as far as being a member of the EDNF & this goes for everyone & anyone & it is so written, (I believe, if I'm not mistaken, even on the actual registration form.) No one is ever turned away from being a member of the EDNF. If someone is financially unable to pay the dues, you note that on the form. I believe there is a spot for it. It is completely confidential & on an honorary basis. Although, if you want to & are able to make a donation & call it your registration or something else, later on down the road, I would guess that your funds would not be turned away. It has always been that way. Again, no one is turned away by the EDNF. Can't wait to meet you & I'm happy I was able to hook you up with Aase, I promise you will love her from day #1. I finally got to shop today, for the convention of course! So on to the pajamas for all those giggle sessions, well they just didn't get to me, to young, to old, too skimpy, So on to the slippers, well how to pick when you haven't picked out the PJ's yet.? Well, of course I came home empty handed. But it felt so good to get out there and know, I'm going!!!!!! Oh! I saw the cutest pair of Bettyboop PJ's, but they didn't have my size. :~( Back to square one. Maybe I won't buy anything new, I don't care. Can you tell? I'm excited??? Cindylouwho Whatever puts a smile on your face. It's really casual, for comfort. Guest guest
Hey - I'm a clothes snob, and usually spend way too much money on them, but I saw that Target has some REALLY cute nice outfits now. They are designed by Izacc Mizrah (sp?) Very inexpensive, and really cute. You should check them out.

Guest guest
Dear All, As I pack to leave for the conference, I'm thinking of all those here that can't attend. We will report back to you on all the latest and as we raise money we will do so in honor of this wonderful group. The boards will be quiet as so many are away until Sunday. But things will be hopping I'm sure when everyone gets back. Take care everyone, Lee
