Just wanted to notify anyone who may be interested the City of Corpus

Christi Fire Department is now accepting applications for Certified

Firefighter/Paramedics. Starting salary $3517/month goes to $3747/month after

six months.

Additionally, $75/month certification pay (paramedic) and $67.50/month

clothing allowance.

Minimum requirements:

High School diploma or Equivalent

Must be between 19 and 35 years of age.

Valid Texas Drivers Licence

Must possess a current paramedic certification issued by the Texas

Department of State Health Services

Must possess a current Structural Firefighter certification from the Texas

Commission on Fire Protection.

Applicants must complete all entry requirements, including written

examination, physical fitness test, panel interview, background check, and

medical/psychological examination. Drug testing is also required.

Successful candidates will successfully complete a four week academy

specifically designed for applicants hired in this hiring process.
