Your test:

The high tin is unusual. My son's test showed high tin as well and I

thought it might be a contaminant picked up when the kids were

sampling the hair.

Your test meets counting rule 1 (5 or less above, not counting copper

which is right on the middle), and counting rule 3 (4 or more red).

Mineral transport is deranged and mercury poisoning is highly probable.

The " all low " pattern suggests a need for extra stomach acid and

possibly digestive enzymes (that you already are taking).

I'm not sure what to make of your Ca, Mg, Na, K, pattern because you

are already on Cortef and florinef. The low K may have something to

do with the florinef (I'm just guessing). What methods does your doc

tor use to determine the correct dose?

It would be good if you could get free T3 and free T4 tests done to

see if you are on adequate thyroid hormone.

The dose of vitamin A you are taking seems high. If there is any

possiblity of becoming pregnant the dose should be kept below 10,000

iu. In " Amalgam Illness " (p 165) Andy suggests a reasonable

maintenance dose of 20,000 iu.

It would be good to spread the Mg, Vit C, and B complex into several

doses over the day (3-4). You may want to increase the dose of Zn.

I don't see vit E and milk thistle in your list.

Your son's test:

Meets counting rule 1, therefore mineral transport is deranged and

mercury poisoning most likely. He could have had lots of exposures

besides the one amalgam filling. Is he totally amalgam free now?

(and ready to chelate?)

The all low pattern indicates a need for extra stomach acid.

His florinef dose must be a typo?

I notice vit E, milk thistle, and B vitamins missing from his

supplement list.

There may be things that I have missed. See " Andy's books " (links

section) for more detail.

Yes the 200mgs florinef was a typo! Ooops, meant to be 200mcgs.

The vitmin A for me is about to finish. I am under the care of Thierry

Hertoghe in Belgium for my hormones and he seems to prefer to give a

hefty dose for a few months. I will consider a low maintainance dose

as per Andy next.

I did take milk thistle a while back and stopped it as it seemed to be

dissagreeing with me. (can't rememeber how) but it is something I will

also be trying again. We do spread the magnesium and vitamin C over

the day so that is good.

I guess I should also add vitamin E back in again. We used to take

this but our levels were very high on the last round of tests so we

stopped. Does it matter about levels for vitamin E?

I am also confused by the tin. Mine being particularly high. I do have

dyed hair although I only took the sample from the new growth. There

is a small chance that a stray hair could have got into the sample. Is

hair dye high in tin? Otherwise it must be from my amalgams. My Son's

tin was also in the yellow though so I think there might be another

reason for this.

By the way, my Son has a root canal filling but no amalgam. He does

not have any amalgams so his mercury problem would have come from me

when I was pregnant. The same applies to my daughter. (I can't get a

hair sample from her but she is obviously mercury toxic as well.)

Will add vitamin b complex to my Son's regime.

Thanks again
