Guest guest
Where do you get empty capsules? It worked great, never even tasted the salt.I've read that there is some additional benefit to dissolving the salt prior to drinking it, but I do not see how it can make too much difference between the salt being dissolved prior to consumption or afterward. Please pardon me if this post is a repeat, some posts weren't showing up, so I may have sent them more than once.> > >trying to supplement sea salt. I put the glass in the microwave for 20-30 seconds -- heating the water up allows you to mix the salt into suspension. After I've stirred the salt into the hot water, I throw in a couple of ice cubes to cool it down quickly. > > > > Once the drink is at a safe temperature, I slug it down like a shot of yucky medicine(for so it is!) and follow it immediately with one or two large glass(es) of room-temperature water. (Icy water is bad for the adrenals I've read, and you need lots of water to dilute the highly concentrated salt water in your stomach, so you don't get sick.) > > > > I finish with a small glass of juice or some sugar-free gum to take the taste away. Guest guest
I read you can buy them in most big pharmacies. Maybe I can order them online. > > > >trying to supplement sea salt. Guest guest
Amazon.com sells empty capsules, here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps & field-keywords=emp\ ty+capsules & x=0 & y=0 So does iherb: http://www.iherb.com/Search?kw=empty+capsules (you need to scroll down the page a little to see the results on this one) They come in different sizes. They are not terribly expensive, but it's probably worth comparison shopping for the best price. I used to get empty capsules for free when my arthritic dog required lots of glucosamine/chondroitin...he wouldn't take the capsules, I had to empty the powder onto his food. That left me with heaps of (perfectly good!) empty capsules, and we had the same routine with all of them...empty out the g/c for the dog, fill up with the salt for me. > > > >trying to supplement sea salt.
