Guest guest
I have poor digestion and esophagus irrititation due to reflux. As suggested (here on adrenal group, don't remember), I stopped the omeprazole (PPI) I was taken about a week ago. I'm double with pain now, like there's a burning ball in my stomach. I don't have slow stomach evacuation, been tested twice for that. My problem is a valve somewhere that doesn't close well, my stomach is often full of bile as a result of this and my stomach acid goed up into my esophagus. I tried the baking soda test which was advised to me, and I didn't burp, so does this mean I have low acid after all? Should I take the Betaine anyway? I have tried other digestive enzymes in the past, but I didn't tolerate them. > > Yes, low thyroid and low cortiosl BOTH tend to cause low stomach acid > and poor digestion. Betaine HCL would be the first thing to try . > > -- > > http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://faqhelp.webs.com/ > > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ > > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ >
