Taurine doesn't behave the same way as sulfur foods. Sulfur foods and

supplements that are problematic for poisoned people have a single S-H

group (thiol) that weakly attracts mercury but doesn't hold on to it,

dragging it around and doing damage but not helping to eliminate it.

If you look at the S in taurine you will see that it is surrounded by

Os - won't attract mercury in the same way.

Found this on p 163 of " Amalgam Illness " :

" some mercury victims have defective amino acid metabolism that

elevates taurine in which case supplementation might be harmful. "
