Guest guest
Hi, just my 2 cents. From experience, if you feel something is wrong and relates to Cholangitis, insist on tests. When my Tyler was first diagnosed, our original doctor kept insisting the RUQ pain was from he colitis. We knew it was different. After over a couple of weeks of fever, pain and suffering, we found new doctors and he ended up in the hospital with cholangitis and was then diagnosed with PSC. Our new doctors listen to our demands and will do any testing we suggest even if they do not feel it is warranted. You should be able to dictate your needs to your doctor or find a new one........Not to be brutle, but my son knows how he feels and knows when it is bad or different... Good luck. Please help I don't know if cholangitis will go away on its own or not. But today he does feel a little bit better. However he did end up throwing up either 15 or 16 times (I lost count)in a 24 hour period and it was pretty much all bile. The doctor doesn't seem concerned and thinks I know too much. I am so frustrated. He was very sick, and still doesn't feel good. At least he was finally able to eat something tonight, and keep it down. > > > Subject: flu or cholangitis? Guest guest
I do very much agree with Stevie on demanding some testing from his doctor. I do that sometimes, myself. And the doctor has to agree, Otherwise it is not good, and until you find a better substitution, you can take him to the ER and there they would normally run the necessary testing, plus you also can ask them, too. I do feel sorry that you have to deal with a lot of worry and much confusion. My best wishes. Subject: Re: Re: flu or cholangitis?
