Guest guest
, I'd say follow the GI's advice and wait until tommorrow and see if he gets better, but if he gets worse at any time before that take him to an ER. Our prayers! Ian (52) PSC 89 Rick has been sick all day and has thrown up more than a dozen times. He has pain in his right side as well. Right now it appears that it is all bile. His temperature has fluctuated just slightly up to around 99.5. I am worried about the bloody noses as well. I called the GI and he said to wait until tomorrow to see if he gets any better. I just don't know if this is the flu or something else. It seems pretty excessive for the flu. His CMP was taken on friday and it was mostly in the normal range. Which makes me wonder.wife to Rick-crohn's, psc, spondyloarthropathy, gilbert's -- Ian Cribb P.Eng.

Guest guest
I think I'd follow my gut and go to the ER, no pun intended. I doubt you'd be writing if you thought the GI doctor was giving good advice.Marie To: From: megasam2@...Date: Thu, 11 Sep 2008 04:59:48 +0000Subject: flu or cholangitis? Guest guest
I do agree with Marie. Although his temperature is not above 100d., It would be better to take him to the ER, specially if he has thrown up a dozen of times. Plus the presence of the URQ pain.  My prayers his way. Guest guest
I really appreciate the support you all have given me. It just seems that things just keep happening and I don't know what to do. I wish there were easy answers. I wish that there was a doctor here that understands PSC. I feel like my husband just keeps getting passed around between doctors because they just don't know what to do with him. And his bloody noses are apparently being caused by his medications. It was cautorized (sp?) today because it is so bad. I just want to scream.
