Guest guest
I want to get my Hair Elements test done through Great Plains Lab. I did one about a year ago also through them. According to the Counting rules I did not qualify for mercury toxicity. In all 5 rules I was in the " normal " category. I actually fell into the category of 1% of the people whose toxic elements all show up in the green area. This is despite the fact that I have had around 10 amalgams for at least 15 years and a root canaled tooth with a metal rod, and a metal bridge that came apart in my mouth about 3 years ago. I am also a Crohn's patient since approx. 14 years, with 2 bowel resection surgeries. Sometime in May of this year I had 2 amalgams removed where only the rubber dam was used (I ended up breathing in some of the vapor - I could smell it so I know that), and I was asked to take Chlorella before and after the procedure. I had not read Andy's book yet. About 5 weeks ago I had the root-camaled tooth extracted, as well as a wisdom tooth that had a huge amalgam in it. Just this last Friday I had the remaining 3 amalgams removed. But before I went in I cut some of my hair at the nape of the neck, called up the lab, and they said it could stay in an envelope for a week before I received their kit. My thought was that this hair sample of the time period between the 2 amalgam removal appointments may give a better picture of body burden, to compare with once I start chelation. Is it better to use this recent sample or wait another month (just before I start chelation) and use the newer hair growth of after one month? Should I get both hair samples tested - the one just before the appointment and the one after another month of growth? Thank You.
