Guest guest
When I went in for my pre-op for cataract surg. day before yesterday, my dr. and I discussed Crestor. I am on 20 mg. to start. I was doing fine on Vytorin months ago but the co-pay through express scripts even got too high. Earl and I take the same stuff so of course 2 orders, right? Well my physician gave me last month a prescription for Crestor since the Lovastatin wasn't doing any good whatsoever. The pharmacist gave me a $30.00 coupon for the 1st month, so I only paid $5.00. I thought that was so nice of them. When dr. and I discussed getting another order next week, I told her I could not afford $35.00 for co- pay and so she gave me a months supply. She said you can't afford $35.00? I said no. She told me that Crestor will save my life and it won't if I don't take it. She said you can't afford not to take it. Now Earl is on Simvastatin and it is not doing a darn thing for him either. I am anxious to see what Crestor will do. I have had this genetic problem with high cholesterol for almost 30 years. Nothing works. In the family, you know. So we shall see. Interesting, huh? I LOVE YOU THIS DAY PERSISTENT FIGHTER MARY LOU IPF -
