I know what you mean. "MS hug" sounds wonderful, doesn't it? lol The squeezing "hug" is terrible--don't feel like I can breathe when it happens to me. To be honest I never got relief from the nerve pain in my back from the neurontin or lyrica either. I have often wondered how older parents survive. I am so glad I had my two kids early because otherwise they wouldn't have survived:) lolhugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Who's reading the group?

SharonI have tried neurontin and lyrica, but didn't help any. I've had the squeezing before too I'm not sure why it's called a hug- felt like a death grip to me. I was first diagnosed with ms in sept '04 and my back pain started in march '05 and has just progressively gotten worse over the years. I too have a hard time standing up between my legs feeling so heavy And weak and my back sometimes I feel like I'm 100 years old instead of only 42! :o) God certainly new what he was doing when he blessed me with my 3 daughters early in life. Don't think I could handle little ones full time anymore. Hope your cold is gone now. It seems like every spring I get colds, allergies and infections.
