Guest guest
Hi WarrenThanks for all the info. I appreciate it. When my nephew was in the Air Force (many years ago) he was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. He wanted to stay in but the Air Force discharged him anyway. I don't know what the common practice is now with the military. What does your disability consist of? I think I remember you are walking with a cane, or has that changed?I'm doing good overall. Thanks for asking:) I am having more trouble with my balance these days and feel like a boat about to capsize. lolhugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I have the impression the young soldier will wait a while before she seeks a discharge. Since my own health care does not come from the military I am free to choose that suits me. My beloved neurologist tells me, with more than a touch of sadness, that a point has been reached where there won't be any more setbacks, but rather a steady decline. The best way to deal with that is through physical therapy and I am certain that without it, over the last 15 years, my horizons would be far more limited than they are. Fortunately, I can do a lot of work using the computer, whether I feel like it or not.I hope you are doing your part to stay well and that it is working!Warren> > > >From: wobbletowalk > >Subject: Who's reading the group?> >To: MSersLife > >Date: Tuesday, April 5, 2011, 1:35 PM> >> >> > > >I am wondering who is reading the group? Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I've advanced. Now I have a walker for bad days and distances greater than 50 yards, and crutches to go with it. On good days, however, a cane is just fine. Can you use a cane to keep from capsizing?
