Guest guest
Val: I've added in the BB iron glycinate as you suggested..starting with 27 mg per day; however, 3rd day in, I am still getting the " racing " (feeling of too much adrenaline) I always get with: iron, adding in Vit C, adding in E/P, or too much thyroid..one of the things that seems to consistently show on labs when I have this symptom is elevated Hemoglobin/Hematocrit (also androgens, particularly testosterone/free testosterone). Have just had labs done, including am cortisol, serum ferritin and iron panel, but these were done prior to adding in BB iron.. Anyone else have this experience? Val, have you seent his before? Guest guest
I hav heard of peope having this reactin to iron supps before. I think it is tryign ot push T3 into the cells and your body is stil not ready for it. I owuld just take wht you can and periodically try to increase the dose as tolerated/ -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

Guest guest
Angie - did you also get this feelig that you are so hot while taking the iron? because that happened to me when I took iron, and I wonder if what Val had wrote is the reason. > > Val: > I've added in the BB iron glycinate as you suggested..starting with 27 mg per day; however, 3rd day in, I am still getting the " racing " (feeling of too much adrenaline) I always get with: iron, adding in Vit C, adding in E/P, or too much thyroid..one of the things that seems to consistently show on labs when I have this symptom is elevated Hemoglobin/Hematocrit (also androgens, particularly testosterone/free testosterone). > > Have just had labs done, including am cortisol, serum ferritin and iron panel, but these were done prior to adding in BB iron.. > > Anyone else have this experience? Guest guest
Hi Ariela: I have had hot flashes since 2001, so it is hard to say..they may have gotten a little worse at night. Right now, I am on Nature-throid and my labs show me a little hyper. If I take ERFA, which I believe Val said may have more T3, then the hot flashes can get significantly worse..so this fits with what Val is saying.
