Guest guest
Well, I'm fairly new to this group, so sorry if I ask any seemingly newb-ie questions. Anyway, I've just been diagnosed with hypo this year and have been struggling to figure everything out. I have been mostly absorbing info from STTM and RTH, but figured I would benefit from coming here too. So, here's my situation. I'm currently on 1.75 grains. I had A Vit D insufficiency that has come up to about 45 (was 22), a lowish ferritin, aldosterone 10 (range 4-31), and questionable cortisol saliva tests. The main reason I'm posting is to figure why my temps have dropped after raising. After raising from 1.5 grains to 1.75, my basal raised to 97.7 for one day (It had been 97.4-97.5 every day) and then dropped to 97.3, where it's been for a few days. Also, my temps were averaging round 98.3- 98.4 during the day before the raise, now they are averaging around 98.1. I know that this may seem like it's caused by cortisol, but I am not so sure if it is (I know I will get heat for this, I will explain myself later if people question this). My curiosities- can having a ferritin level of 51 be the culprit? Or the low-ish aldosterone level? Please, chime in everyone.
