TV show on Vulvar issues/happy news

Hi all! A couple of things...

1. Did anyone else watch " Private Practice " tonight? One of the

patients was a women who couldn't have sex due to vulvar vestibulitis.

Of course, she was very unrealistically treated with success in about 3

days, with one round of trigger point injections and one therapy

session, but it was interesting to see a tv show highlight the issue

and use the terms " vestibulitis " and " vaginismus " and show medical

treatments rather than just attributing it to psychology.

2. My big news....hubby and I were on vacation this past weekend and

were able to have a very short bout of comfortable intercourse! It hurt

on penetration, but after a few minutes' adjusting, I was fine! I was a

little sore for the rest of the day, but this is big progress

considering how long it's been since we even tried...we were coming up

on a year, and it had been bad and painful for several years before

that. So I am happy! I can't wait to see my PT this week and tell her

she is slowly gaining another success story. Now if I can just get my

hormonal mess straightened out...
