Guest guest
Anytime we find something that works that is a big plus. I am convinced that my vulvodynia is caused by problems in the intestinal tract. I always use probiotics (usually yogurt) when I take antibiotics because they prevent not only yeast infections but other things like diarrhea, etc. My VV flares are always preceded by intestinal activity of one kind or another. Fortunately I am not plagued with gluten but I cannot eat wheat bran or any other kind of bran. If we can figure out what not to use it is definitely a good thing. I surely have a lot of respect for your ingenuity in learning and researching to determine what to do about this problem. There should be more people like that. Guest guest
Thanks, Ora, I value you and because of that, what you said. If I have helped you and anybody it is a good thing. I am glad. I hope you have been able to solve your problems to at least have a mostly painfree life. Right now I am trying to figure out what is giving me the most terrible muscle spasms I have every had. Every place from the waist down goes into spasm at different time.--Especially at night and I am getting no sleep. I am trying to figure out which med I am taking has gluten in it or is reacting to some other med. My physical state is pretty precarious or at least I think it is. I had teribly muscle spasms when I was eating gluten and now for some reason they are back. I am taking one prescribed medicine that I can't find any information about on the internet and I suspect it is the thing that is doing it and has gluten in it. It is really hard to find out the answers these days. Many are generic and they aren't very helpful in discussing the contents of their products even if you can find a phone number of the manufacturing company. Many are made out of the country now. (disaster)(no oversight at all). The one I am intereted in apparently was made in Mexico but I can't find out anything. The doc combined my blood pressure medicine with another one and it is the new one that I can't find out about. It is called Enalapril Malea. (Malea is what I can't find). I can't even find the company name. Ugh! BLARG!!234)9+-**##@@ The doctors haven't a clue, the pharmas don't care. They are trying to kill us. If anything can help anybody I am really glad. I hope you have managed to make your life mostly painfree these days. Right now I am trying to find out why I am having terribly muscle spasms from my waist down to my toes. I always had a lot of them until I stopped eating gluten and they all went away. Now they are back and I am miserable. I believe it is in some meds I am taking but I can't find out about one of them. Many are made out of the country and there is no government oversight anymore about anything. I can't even locate the company that made them. It is a blood pressure med called Enalapril Malea and it is the Malea part of it I can't find. The doc combined the two meds. Enalapril is all right. Malea is a mystery. Guest guest
I found a website which mentions 482 enalapril FADA ENALAPRIL/ENALAPRIL MALEA 10 mg comp.x 20 Fada Pharma You need to google Enalapril Malea. Click on the HTML VERSION, in The last item on the first page. That will give you a long list of drugs most of which are apparently made in foreign countries. Enalapril Malea is made by FADA Pharmaceuticals somewhere in South America. I would guess that it is the same as Enalapril Maleate marketed as Vasotec. One of its side effects is muscle cramps.
