Guest guest
Hi: I live in ton, MA, I used to live in Lowell, MA. I go to a GI in Peabody Mass and also to Dr Kaplan in Boston. My Primary Care physician is out of Lowell and is retiring soon (I have PSC (21 years), had UC, have hypothyroidism, etc.) My GI is in Peabody since my former GI of 20 years retired last year (he was out of Salem, MA) and transferred Patients to my new G.I. Fortunately My parents and sister live in Salem, MA (Next to Peabody) so even though it's quite a drive to get there (1.5hrs from home, 40 mins from work) I always combine the GI visit with a family visit. Can anyone recommend a PCP in Western MA (Maybe from Leominister/Fitchburg to Athol? Athol and Gardner are the closest hospitals to me. I'd like to find a PCP that has Internal Medicine as a speciality and even better if he had some patients or experience with PSC? Dr Kaplan gave me 1 recommendation but the Dr isn't in my plan. (I have United Health Care). Any recommendations? Thanks.
Guest guest
Sorry, I'm on the NY border in MA and I go to Boston for all my GI needs, because I used to live there and didn't want to change doctors. Good to see you are also a long-term PSCer who is doing well enough to feel like pumping iron! Martha (MA) > > Hi: > > I live in ton, MA, I used to live in Lowell, MA.
