I think that many people have UC that is exacerbated by milk. I have

been asymptomatic for 27 years with UC, but there was always

inflammation when they did colonoscopies. I stopped all dairy for my

daughter's first year because it irritated her gut when I drank milk.

My colonscopy after that was perfectly clear of any UC symptoms. After

I found they snuck some whey into the cereal I was eating it came

back. When I eliminated that it was gone. I just wish I knew whether

it was lactose or milk protein. I do miss butter and cheese!!

Thanks for the information about the new Generic Brand of Urso. I'm

also in Canada, but do not have a medical plan. I'm on 1500 mg./day so

it's rather expensive. I'll be asking for the Generic for sure next

time.
