Guest guest
got to be careful here bragging like I'm fixen to do. since the end of February, maybe around the 22, I haven't had any leg or feet cramps of any kind! not even when I stretch from first waking or getting up from sitting. no cramps in my belly or neck and I had plenty. no cramps in lower legs or upper leg like the thies. ever had a leg cramp above your knee? that pane I'm here to tell you as one who know's, is the worse pane I have ever had for any reason. lots of doctor's tried to tell me that high out of control sugar could cause cramps as I was having. I suppose I choice to ignore them or I couldn't believe it was so. my sugar has been in grate control since the first of March. 3 whole months and no leg or foot cramps at all! not even a small one! not even while in the process of stretching a mile, but then I have to walk back, so I try not to stretch a mile very much. my kin folk hill 's use to always say, I would stretch a mile if I didn't have to walk back. So here I sit knocking up on my hard head as if it was made of wood or stone because you are suppose to do this when bragging. I actually have no clue why, but when learned as a young child, you take it with you in to adult hood. just one more grate reason why to control out of control sugar and exercise to lose unwanted weight. Guest guest
please do not ever stick a nasty banana in your mouth or belly! I guess you could have one or half of one. depends on mainly how it will affect your sugar. now I'm here to worn you though. bananas are way nasty and not made for humans to eat. only monkey's eat bananas and they do it because they have not a lick of good sense! sit on a banana if you must or even rub it in to your hair on your head, but what ever you do with it, never eat it! much more better fruit to eat and it taste real fine. oranges, peaches, apples, pears, cherries, grapes, cantaloupe, water melon, pineapple, key wee, strawberries, blue berries, black berries, and so many more, but do take some grate advice which is totally free to you, don't eat a nasty banana! I have heard that if you do eat to many and I really don't know how many is to many, that you could change in to a monkey! now how in the world would you have to live if you was a monkey? Guest guest
I did buy some. I haven't eaten them for a good while, but won't buy anymore after this. I thought watermelon and cantleloupe had a lot of sugar. Guest guest
what I do is eat a small amount of anything I desire. then I take my sugar 2 hours later to see how it effected my reading. If my readings stays under 120, then I continue to eat what ever it was, but do not eat to much of it. seems to me that any kind of fruit is ok as long as you don't eat the whole thing at one setting. for example, I can eat one fourth and some times even one third of an orange and it doesn't shoot my sugar in to space. however, if I was to eat the whole orange and I did so I would know, my sugar went way higher then I like it to stay. the berry family is the lowest in carbs and preferred by most diabetics from what I hear. the rest is ok, but small amounts is better until you know how much of a certain fruit or any other food will cause your sugar to rise. make notes of these finding and you won't have to keep doing it all the time. you really can eat a banana if you wish and like them. I do know though they really will jack your sugar if you eat to many in a day. I know they don't keep well, so best to probably only buy a bundle and split it with a friend or family member. this way you shouldn't be tempted to eat them all in 3 days so they don't go bad. I have read in a few books that if you eat a bit of fat with such as a banana or orange that does cause a rapid raise in blood sugar, that the fat will slow down the spike. I have ate walnuts with some orange and tested this method. it did work for me. you do however have to eat the fat right along with the fruit so they pile up on top of each other in your belly. I got no clue why it works or do I recall in what book I read it in. If you were to make you a fruit dessert made up of 5 different fruits, then you wouldn't need as much as one whole banana. maybe half of it to day and the other half to morrow. I like to take cottage cheese, strawberries, cantaloupe, apple or orange, with some splinda and nuts and mix this up together and let sit in a covered dish for a few hours so it can all blend together. it makes a nice lunch and doesn't have a pile of carbs. plus it does have the fat in the nuts that will stop the spike in the sugar from the fruit. you could even have some banana in this if you are determined to mess it up, but each to there own. I wonder if monkey's like hamburgers and hot dogs? maybe they dig apple pie and chivalays as well? Now knocking up on my wooden head! > > > got to be careful here bragging like I'm fixen to do. since the end of > > February, maybe around the 22, I haven't had any leg or feet cramps of > any > > kind! not even when I stretch from first waking or getting up from > > sitting. no cramps in my belly or neck and I had plenty. no cramps in > > lower legs or upper leg like the thies. ever had a leg cramp above your > > knee? that pane I'm here to tell you as one who know's, is the worse > pane > > I have ever had for any reason. lots of doctor's tried to tell me that > > high out of control sugar could cause cramps as I was having. Guest guest
I have half of a banana every day after lunch. They are high in carbohydrates, as well as potassium. Some diabetics need to watch the potassium. As someone just mentioned, all things in moderation. Eat something you may be unsure of, and 2 hours later, do a bg test. As we keep repeating, your meter is your friend. Guest guest
This from a guy who likes strawberry preserves on his scrambled eggs? I think bananas are good. Most people like bananas. Even us monkeys. Re: Now knocking up on my wooden head! please do not ever stick a nasty banana in your mouth or belly!
