Guest guest
I didn't know the weather could effect your sugar. Becky did bring it up to 90 right after I posted. ate me 3 slices of cantaloupe and my sugar was then 90 instead of the 80. having the salmon and salad and a baked potatoes. of course I am dropping my dose to seven twice a day starting in the morning. will fax this in to the saw bones as well in the morning with the past seven day's results. don't like eating a lot or cutting my exercise down. got to drop the pounds, but be safe at the same time. this diabetes stuff sure can be a pane! Guest guest
Well, Becky, my point is, diabetes is essentially a fickle disease. Technically, the weather won't effect your diabetes, but in another way, it might. If you get depressed on rainy days, perhaps your bg level might run higher. But my comment was more meant to be facetious than anything. Now, if a blizzard hits, and you're caught out in it while hiking, then the weather might most definitely effect your diabetes! Guest guest
I have actually heard this before. 30% chance of rain the past 4 days and rest of the week. seems like life in general can play with your sugar. stress, infection, excitement, food, lack of food, alcohol, anger, emotions, medicine, exercise, doctor's, etc! see? just daily life in general can mess with one's sugar. 24 seven disease is a under statement for a fact! did bring it up to 90 right after I posted. ate me 3 slices of cantaloupe and my sugar was then 90 instead of the 80. having the salmon and salad and a baked potatoes. of course I am dropping my dose to seven twice a day starting in the morning. will fax this in to the saw bones as well in the morning with the past seven day's results. don't like eating a lot or cutting my exercise down. got to drop the pounds, but be safe at the same time. this diabetes stuff sure can be a pane!
