>I have been taking synthroid 25 mg. for about 6 months and then went off

synthroid and started Armour thyroid 90 for about a month. I had saliva testing

done about 2 weeks after starting the Armour thyroid and found the high RT3.

Could the Armour if unneeded be causing the RT3 to be high?

I doubt it at that dose. It's more likely that the RT3 has been giving

you the symptoms that you tried the thyroid meds to cure. Those meds

were at too low a dose to do much good let along cause high RT3 (which

can be due to meds being too high).

Has your temperature been running low??

Have you done any adrenal saliva tests or had ferritin tested??

I'm probably not culling this correctly, sorry not so sure what that means.

I have done saliva testing as well as blood. I called doc on Friday and she is going to mail lab results, which I will post here. My reverse T3 was higher than any she had seen, so I'm curious to know exactly what the number is. I'm pretty sure she said 680 something. She started me on progesterone, the bioidentical kind I think and told me to continue on my Armour Thyroid. >I have been taking synthroid 25 mg. for about 6 months and then went off synthroid and started Armour thyroid 90 for about a month.
