As I mentioned the other day, my RT3 is very high. I had 3/4 of my thyroid

removed surgically about 28 years ago. My tests are always fine, but I have had

doctors put me on low dose thyroid meds based on symptoms. My question is could

taking Armour thyroid if you don't need it cause Rt3 to be high? I have had

doctors say that I don't need thyroid meds because my tsh and t3 and t4 are

fine. I have been taking synthroid 25 mg. for about 6 months and then went off

synthroid and started Armour thyroid 90 for about a month. I had saliva testing

done about 2 weeks after starting the Armour thyroid and found the high RT3.

Could the Armour if unneeded be causing the RT3 to be high?

Thanks.
