I love the look of pretty foods in glass jars, too. I guess you and I are a little weird, maybe? lol I also love the look of home canned foods--all sparkly like jewels on the shelf:)I'm sorry for your bad memories, . When my first baby was small I had to go to work selling Tupperware just to buy food for her. It was a very hard thing for me because I was incredibly shy. And while I was out working my butt off trying to talk people into buying tupperware-- my husband was sitting at home twiddling his thumbs. hugs SharonThis

We do "big shopping" every 2 weeks, and just pick up things like fresh vegor milk in between. I try - especially this time of year - to rotatebeans-pasta-potatoes-grains so we don't get bored or bad tummies...I like seeing all my pretty jars full of stuff, though. There was a timelong long back, when I was married to The Pervert, when there were days Ihad to beg on the street for something to feed my baby. Himself has neverever let us go hungry, but that kind of thing sort of sticks in the back ofyour mind...Tarcy in WYPractical Blackwork Designshttp://practicalblackwork.comhttp://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com "You get a wonderful view from the point of no return..."-----Original
