Guest guest
I was born in Tucson but my parents lived in a small mining town to the north called Mammoth. I lived there for the first 8 years of my life and I have wonderful memories of the area:) A fire broke out early yesterday at the back of the Mercer Ranch near Mammoth. The Mercers are a very old, pioneering ranching family. Yesterday the fire was threatening the old historical Mercer homestead. I don't know what's happened since then. The entire Mercer ranch is in high danger. The ranch is just outside town and the entire town could be in danger. The terrain is very wild and the fire tankers can't get in the area at all. This is from InciWeb.com150 acres, 0% containment, start date: 6/28/2011,Fuels: grasses, brush, juniper, oak, located in Galiuro Mountains, east of Mammoth. We need MONSOON rains but no lightening please:) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
