Guest guest
I recall someone, I think Rose, saying that she was getting her compounding pharmacist to make her a compounded HC cream with as few additives as possible. I called mine today and asked if he could do that and he said yes and that he could dispense it for me in syringes which would make it even easier. He says that 1ml of 1% HC cream = 10mg of HC taken orally. The inactive ingredients would be the emolient cream base that is converted from the ointment, polysorbate 80 and water. He said that he could do it without methylparaben as a preservative and that it would stay mold resistant for up to 4-6 weeks, but that without any preservative bacteria could start to grow in it within 3 - 4 days. All things considered, is the presence of the one paraben that bad? Thanks,
