Not always. There are in fact many fire based EMS services in rural Germany.

What concerns me most is that he thinks US EMS does a great job!

Rob,

Where do you work that the EMS system is so bad? What is it elsewhere that makes

other systems better? The generalized statement that infers EMS in the U.S. as a

whole is bad is not a fair one. If I applied the same rule in regard to nurses,

physicians and other professionals that I have had to work with, then all nurses

and physicians in the U.S. suck. However, I know many good Physicians and

nurses, so I will not apply that statement to all.
