Hello evryone- I wanted to share my past week with all of you. It started with Saturday the 11th. We burried my mother in law who had passed away from pancreatic cancer. (it was a blessing though, because she suffered for the past 2 years) So on Sunday, we were

still dealing with all the stuff that goes with that. I was feeling tired, and not quite myself, but I had chalked it up to the stress of all that. sunday night, I was feeling a little worse, and i knew I was dehydrated, so we decided to got to the cities to the hospital Monday

morning. They did find that I was dehydrated, and my BP was up, so they decided to keep me overnight to observe me. Tuesday morning the Doc came in and told me that all looked well, and that when the other test they took came back, they would discharge me. The test was going

to be back around 2 PM. At 12:30PM the Doc came back in and asked me how I felt about having a baby today. Well as I was only at 36 weeks, and was set to deliver Halloween day, I was VERY nervous, but sher stated that my BP just kept going up, and I was getting a little

yellow, I knew she wasn't looking for an answer, just informing me. I had just eaten lunch so she said it would be about 6PM before they could do it. My LFTs were going south, and I wasn't feeling the best,

so we said ok (like we had a choice) We at least had time to call everyone to get them there. So, at 6:38 PM Little Henry came screamimg into this world at 6 lbs 8ozs. My BP and LFTs got alot better as soon as I delivered, and he seemed to be ok. Overnight, he

dropped weight and by Wed AM he was at 5lbs 15ozs. I was still a little yellow, but his levels were great, just lost the weight. As of today, he is 5lbs 13.5ozs. They did discharge us both on Friday. It is a little overwhelming, as all my other kids were overddue, and

girls, and now I have a boy, preemie, and underweight. But he is very handsome( I know.... I am his mom so I am just saying that.... but it is true Hee Hee)and so far a good baby. He sleeps alot, and we feed him every 2 hours to bring up his weight. But even though we weren't

ready for him to come yet(I hadn't even bought socks for him yet, and it was chilly the past few days) I am glad he is here. I forgot about the lack of sleep when babies come, but I am getting used to it. But

all told, it happened the way it was meant to. It is sad that he missed his grandma by one week, but I feel she was there to see him into this world. Sorry this is so long, I feel that I am rambling, I just wanted to share this miracle with everyone. Even though I don't

post much, I read almost every entry, and am so thankful for this group. Blessings to you all..... Annie -- Ian Cribb P.Eng.
