Guest guest
some women have burning after urination due to a high amount of oxalate in the urine. This can be managed by eliminating high oxalate foods, and taking calcium citrate. If you google the 'low-oxalate diet' I'm sure something will pop up.To: VulvarDisorders From: candicat87@...Date: Wed, 13 Feb 2008 20:55:02 -0500Subject: Re: Pain worst after urination? Can you maybe lean forword so it doesn't hit the tissue on the way out and don't use any scented toilette papers. also how about trying to use a gental ointment like a and d when you are done? These are some things that help me. I hope it helps Candi Need to know the score, the latest news, or you need your Hotmail®-get your "fix". Check it out. Guest guest
Use a squirt bottle following urination. Or I have a “Biffy” on my toilet that sprays a nice cooling stream after I urinate. I have mentioned it before, but I have never had another UTI since I started doing this. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Candicat Sent: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 8:55 PM To: VulvarDisorders Subject: Re: Pain worst after urination? Guest guest
They are fantastic – once you get use to using one, you don’t want to use another toilet. We only have it in one bathroom, and if I have to go in a hurry, I RUN to the bathroom with the Biffy. You can also get an attachment (that needs an electrical connection) for heated water, or if you like it room temperature, there is an attachment for that too. But if you are in the market for buying a new toilet (you are remodeling, etc.), get a Toto – that is one fantastic toilet. It has three different sprays, heated, non heated, more different things than I can think of! If it could urinate for you I think it would!
