Guest guest
Hi all! I am new to this group, having found it while doing research on my daughter's new diagnosis. Her gastro dr, along with radiology, has diagnosed her with PSC and they are referring her to a hep dr in st Louis, mo. She was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at 10 years old and has been struggling with various issues ever since. Her crohn's seems good now, but she has had chronic pain issues for several years. Now this. She is currently 21 years old and is not coping very well. What can I expect from her hep dr? All I know is they probably will do some kind of procedure to open up ducts more and also sample. Everything I have read has me scared about this disease. Is there hope? I also worry that if she has to have a transplant at some time, she is allergic to so many medicines (such as remicade) that she will be allergic to the antirejection drugs as well. I expect that she will join this group soon, too. Her name is ne. Mark
