Guest guest
This anti-inflammatory I know the side effects are usually stomach, dizzeness and the usual but never heard of such a severe one as Seizure, I think it should not scare you from taking it, if Dr. prescribed as this must of been one of those very sm chance side effect. I know that it is one of the better anti-imflam's, but with that comes added other symptoms, this type of med is VERY hard on the stomach that is why it is suppose to be taken with food. My gastro doesn't want me on any of them I use to be, but my digestive tract was bad I think when I was born as it runs in the family. My g.children were born with terrible GERD, and g.son wakes up with sore throat, and vomiting bial, it is so said, it comes out of nowhere and he is a very very fussy eater I think it is cause he is scared of it hearting later. Anyway, I have said before, my gastro would rather me be on the narcotic pain med then the anti-inflam, but in all truth would like to see me not to have any of it! Sorry Doc pain outweighs stomach esophagus worries now. Side effects? Thanks Jana Gretchen, I took Voltaren only once (long before I ever had fibro) and had a seizure from it. That was in Sept 1992 and I was 21 years old when that happened.
