I understand the pain, I was in bed for 3 days last weekend. Glad to hear that you have your mom to talk to. Crying intensifies my pain, so I do whatever I can to fight against crying - especially when I have a headache or migraine. Here's what I'm finding is helping to manage my pain (well this week), at the onset I take 2 advil, then I take 2 advil every 2 hours throughout the day. Seems to be taking the edge off. I do end up going over maximum amount of pills per day (12 I think) but it takes the edge off. I have other pain med's, controlled drugs, but trying not to take them very often. Before you do the advil thing that I do, check with your doctor first, since everyone is different. I hope the pain subsides soon.
