Guest guest
Femglide is glycerin free. I use that. The gylcerin free lube say 'good for diabetics' on them. I always got frequent yeast infections so I use the glycerin free stuff. I get Femglide online at drugstore.com Sherri -------------- Original message -------------- > So could the lube and the gel I use for treating vaginal dryness > actually be responsible for recurrent yeast infections? Guest guest
Well, pure oils have no glycerin - emu oil, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, etc. We also sometimes use lubricants from Sympathical Formulas - I don't think they have glycerin but not sure. Guest guest
Glycerin is produced in a chemical reaction using oils/fats and another product such as lye, to make soap. Glycerin is a by-product of the soap making industry. Guest guest
Some lubes can be irritating. And not everyone is sensitive to the same things. I swear by astroglide, but there are others who have had irritation from this and can use almond oil and the like which cause yeast infections for me. So go figure. I think the best thing you can do is to try a few things out until you find the right lube. Bunny > > > > Hi Ivy: > > > > What are your new suppositories?
